Capgemini Group honored by IBM with 2017 Outstanding Partnership Award for Security

Paris, April 27, 2017 - Capgemini, a global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing services, and Sogeti, its Technology and Engineering Services subsidiary, have been given the 2017 IBM Outstanding Partnership Award for Security.

The IBM Outstanding Partnership Award for Security is granted annually to an IBM Business Partner who demonstrates exceptional collaboration, innovative security solutions development, and a dedication to IBM skills attainment in the realm of Cybersecurity.

This year, Capgemini and its Technology and Engineering Services subsidiary, Sogeti, participated in the IBM Watson for Cyber Security Beta Program. Through this program, the Group was able to provide IBM with insightful feedback, suggestions and results that will help shape the future of Watson for Cybersecurity.

“We are proud to accept this Outstanding Partnership Award for our work with IBM on Advanced Cognitive Security Analytics Security Operations Center powered by IBM QRadar. We believe this is testament to the expertise of our cybersecurity global practice. Integrating the leading technologies into value adding business services” said Mike Turner, Capgemini Global Cybersecurity COO.

“Our dedication and deep expertise in IBM technologies has exponentially enhanced our security solutions and services making Capgemini and Sogeti such a valuable resource to both IBM and our clients. In this new era of digital transformation, products such as Watson and our partnership with IBM helps us to move beyond traditional models and deliver high-value, innovative cybersecurity services immediately,” adds Philippe Duranté, Global Leader IBM Alliance, Capgemini Group.

In addition to the Outstanding Partnership Award for Security, Capgemini Group through Sogeti, its Technology and Engineering Services subsidiary, was also named a 2017 Beacon Award Finalist for Advanced Cognitive Security Analytics, and has been recognized by IBM as one of the earliest approved Platinum Business Partners, since the updated IBM PartnerWorld program went into effect in January, 2017.
