With a strong commitment to making a difference, Nadia Nair, our Talent Acquisition Lead, is also embracing the new role of CSR Officer at Sogeti Luxembourg. Passionate about sustainability, ethical business practices, and community engagement, Nadia has been at the forefront of our CSR initiatives for years. As we approach International Women’s Day, we sat down with her to discuss her journey, vision, and the actions she believes will drive real change and make a positive impact.

A Dual Role: Talent & Purpose

Nadia’s journey at Sogeti began seven years ago, initially reinforcing the cybersecurity team before taking the lead in recruitment across all business units. In January 2023, she took on the role of Talent Acquisition Lead, shaping hiring strategies, strengthening partnerships, and driving quality recruitment.

But her passion extended beyond recruitment. Having actively led CSR initiatives, including Luxembourg’s ecological game, Nadia saw an opportunity to create a bigger impact.

For me, giving back to society is essential. As a recruiter, I interact with diverse talents and cultures every day, and I’ve always been personally committed to environmental protection, ethical business, and community engagement,” she shares.

Whether it’s waste management, using public transport, or volunteering as a blood donor, CSR is deeply embedded in her values.

Why CSR Matters

For Nadia, CSR is more than a corporate responsibility – it’s an ethical obligation. “Every company has a role to play in shaping a better society. CSR isn’t just about compliance; it’s about creating meaningful change. By partnering with NGOs and launching creative initiatives, we can achieve a larger impact together than as individuals.”

Her focus is on strengthening relationships with local communities and employees, ensuring that Sogeti’s CSR efforts are not just ticked off as tasks, but genuine, long-term commitments.

Empowering Women in the Workplace

As part of the Women@Capgemini network, Nadia is focused on strengthening local participation and creating more opportunities for women to connect, mentor, and lead. She is also advocating for more inclusive recruitment, working to ensure equal opportunities for all by:

Training recruiters to recognize and mitigate unconscious bias in hiring
Organizing women-focused tech events and bootcamps to support skill-building and networking
Reviewing job descriptions to ensure inclusive language and attract diverse talent
Building a gender-balanced talent pipeline for future hires

Looking Back, Moving Forward: Lessons from My Journey

Reflecting on her journey, Nadia acknowledges the challenges of working in a male-dominated tech industry. “It’s not always easy. There’s competition, high turnover, and the need to constantly attract and retain talent. But I’ve learned that taking on challenges, being proactive, and staying resilient are key.”

Her advice for women navigating their careers?
💡 Keep learning—invest in upskilling, training, and staying curious
💡 Embrace challenges—growth happens outside your comfort zone
💡 Prioritize well-being—work-life balance is essential for long-term success

What’s Next for CSR at Sogeti Luxembourg?

Exciting initiatives are on the horizon as we strengthen our commitment to sustainability, inclusion, and community engagement. We are partnering with local NGOs to donate unused IT devices, helping to support digital inclusion efforts and sustainability. Our upcoming plans also include a Green Day community cleanup, support for the Pink October initiative, a new edition of the Inclusion Circle, and the development of a local roadmap for Capgemini’s global Impact Together Month.

With Nadia leading the way, CSR at Sogeti Luxembourg is evolving into a movement—one that empowers employees, strengthens communities, and drives real and meaningful change.
