Business intelligence analyst - SAS(M/F)


The mission

Development and maintenance SAS applications

Within the whole work programming, you will focus on maintenance of existing and

development of new SAS domains.

The main existing tools/environments to be taken into account for this task are: SAS

Enterprise Guide.

This task comprises of the following:

- Resolve ad-hoc problems and Resolve bugs

- Carry out service and maintenance tasks

- Analyze the impact of changes in one application to the others

- Update and maintain the necessary components to be able to work in the current and future software environments

- Update the necessary components to be able to receive files created by the newest version of MS Office

- Update the functional metadata

- Design and implement new data collection including the data model and the physical DB design

- Analyze the applicability for a new or existing data collection

- Provide second level technical support for the newly developed or updated systems during the first production cycles

- Participate in the definition of the business requirements

- Develop and maintain OLAP cubes

- Integrate SOA and other components in SAS programs and increase interoperability

- Elaborate test programs and create test reports

- Development and programming of new statistical domains



Your profile

The required profile is:

Business Intelligence Analyst with specific expertise in Statistics and Programming in SAS.


Skills/expertise in the following domains are important for the success of the project:

  • Knowledge of software development and database technology
  • Fluency in English : all documentation must be written in English. Meetings and communications are carried on in English
  • Thorough knowledge of the SAS BI Platform, Enterprise Guide, SAS Base and SAS Macros programing
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to analyze users' requirements and design and implement appropriate solutions
  • Expertise and knowledge in statistics and economics is an advantage
  • Knowledge in Amazon Web Services, Red Hat Unix, SAS Studio, SAS Management Console and SAS Platform administration is an advantage
  • Be pro-active
